Sea Isle City - Farmers in Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, and many other agriculture-heavy states will now feel the sting of Trump's major budget cuts to crop subsidies and crop insurance premium assistance. Agriculture makes up 11 percent of the total U.S. economy and employs 22 million people. As farmers soon feel the pinch, so will small town America where farmers go for local goods and services at restaurants, feed stores, etc. Trump says "farmers must now do more with less" as many farmers who supported Trump now say "we didn't think it out too good." But the good news is there is now more money to build the wall.
