"Catholic Strong" and "Proud to be Catholic" are unusual slogans

Sea Isle City - "Catholic Strong" and "Proud to be Catholic" are unusual slogans for a church founded under the word of Christ as recorded in the New Testament Books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, or even in the Letters of Paul, James and Peter, or in the Acts of the Apostles. There has been some reporting that in the United States our bishops are drifting more towards alignment to conservatives and away from the guidance of Pope Francis and Beatitudes. Pride was once a capital sin and humility, the source of communion with God. Has the theology changed to accepting what was once the temptations?
