Sea Isle City - The blue “Editor’s Note” comments are usually informative, but I think the editor missed the mark with his comment to “Avalon” regarding wealthy people in the new administration (Spout Off, Dec. 28, 2016). First, you’ve bought into the argument that “wealthy people are winners.” I think many others would disagree that is the only criteria for being classified as a “winner.” In fact, I’m not even sure it is one of the criteria at all. Secondly, we just had an unprecedented eight years of continual stock growth, but I don’t think the poor and middle class feel they are better off.
