White House press briefings , years ago used to be a forum for an open exchange between the president and the citizens he served. After many informative years the sessions devolved into chaotic shouting matches as reporters tried to make a name for themselves by throwing a zinger at the president or press secretary. Today the “ press briefings” have become nothing more than a propaganda forum where there is no truth ,only gaslighting, distortions and outright lies.
