While some argue that the new City Hall building is an attractive, welcoming addition to our community, there can be no argument that the porta potties on the sidewalk of Landis and JFK Blvd. are anything but. It's hard to imagine why the city permitted these temporary toilets to be set up in the heart of town on the busiest weekend of the summer. With so many recent improvements to our mid-town, I don't think it is unreasonable to require these temporary facilities to be restricted to less visible locations.
