A way to solve the bike riding problem is to make one side of the pavement for bikes and pavement across the street for walkers. For example, on the west side, bikes could ride safely without being in the street making drivers nuts, and on the east side, walkers could walk safely without bikes coming at them. On the numbered streets, bikes could be on the even side and walkers on the uneven side. I know it's a new concept but why not give it a try? There was a serious accident on Landis Avenue with a car and bicyclist.
