Cape May County

The Sea Isle Blvd. construction currently going on is an excellent example of how the highway fund money is being wasted. Road construction where road construction isn't needed goes on all over the state, which is the reason there is no money left. Bridges are falling apart, but instead of rebuilding bridges, they raise a road four feet that has only flooded marginally two times in the last 75 years. NJ voters appear to care less and love paying more in taxes as the Legislature votes to increase the gas tax. NJ also has the highest road construction cost in the country.
