Regarding the recent spout about Sea Isle's benches honoring people who have passed: My vote is that the benches should be near the library, Veterans Memorial or City Hall as opposed to on the Promenade where the huge majority of tourists and visitors walk. Reading the bench plaques is sad and most people have no idea who they are reading about. Benches on the Promenade should be happy places to sit, smile and watch the ocean.
