Regarding the beach harvesting at the South end of Sea Isle City...this is part of the TI State Water Park that many people visit to enjoy the beach and fish. The island is alway shifting, and most of the sand came back naturally a few weeks ago with the winds out of the west. The erosion that tore away over 40 feet of dunes, with natural habit of trees and bushes, as well as foxes and other animals is trying to be stopped, hence the beach harvesting. It was not for the Condo's at the end of the island ,even though we saw the destruction happening this summer and notified the City.
