Refreshing to see Sea Isle officials finally deeming parking lifts as unsightly within the city, but where have they been all these years? Would be nice if city officials actually enforced the existing zoning laws on the books regarding required landscaping and shielding dumpsters from public view to create friendlier streetscapes. The city seems to always be reactive instead of proactive regarding its approach to development. When you try to squeeze as many units into a small parcel of land with no open space or landscaping, of course people will deem the development unsightly.
