Record high tides and the Sea Isle Causeway was just fine. Do the powers that be still think the multi-year and multi-million dollar project to raise the Causeway was necessary? Maybe that money could have been spent elsewhere, somewhere more important, like replacing the Townsends Inlet Bridge instead of the now annual winter closing so it can again be repaired.
