The potential railroad strike has highlighted the absolute reliance the country has on this system. The discussions and news coverage also disclosed how the USA still has a 19th century rail system in terms of technology and capabilities. We have ignored the rails while we have spent billions in taxpayer money giving “ aid” to the rest of the world.. Many of our “allies” have 21st century Transportation using OUR MONEY while we are stuck in the 19th century .It seems so simple , America First. Why don’t our politicians get it?
