To the person who says they can't become an associate member of the SIC VFW. There is NO associate membership. If you want to join the Auxiliary you have to prove your loved one served in a foreign war zone. If you have your father's paperwork , DD214, it will show your father's Vietnam Medal. I would advise you talk to the Auxiliary to get the correct information. We ARE here to serve our Veterans and we serve them everyday! The Auxiliary is a service organization, join to honor your loved ones, not just to socialize!
