A North Cape may spouter inquired about anonymous reporting "about nurses who are not using their skills to their full potential," citing a neglect case. I can't think of a worse idea. First of all, what makes this spouter qualified to judge a nurse's skills, unless he/she is a nurse too, and what value are anonymous complaints? They are rarely verifiable and can have origins in personal grudges. If people see some egregious neglect or misconduct that is recognizable to any lay person, then they should report it to institutional and public authorities, and be brave enough to give their name.
