Sea Isle City

Neighboring municipalities throughout the county are outsourcing much of their public works. I support Sea Isle's public workers but wonder how much cost savings would come to the taxpayers if Sea Isle similarly outsourced trash and landscaping duties. I surmise this is unlikely to happen because our local officials depend on the votes of public work employees to stay in office. I wonder if a reasonable compromise can be struck like hiring an outside landscaper while keeping the dump manpowered by public works. It might be cheaper for the taxpayer.
