Large cuts in consumer spending will result if Congress doesn't extend the $600-a-week unemployment supplement. That will result in more economic disaster. Now is not the time to worry that there are some people who are NOT returning to minimum wage jobs because they are making more with unemployment. It is a small part of the 21 million unemployed Americans.
