Just a clarification for those Spouting about “ affordable housing” in Sea Isle. It’s not about the cost of houses in the market, it’s about government mandated housing “ units “ for those receiving government assistance. The cost of housing has nothing to do with it. It’s government assistance to low income people and with that comes affordable housing UNITS. So it could be the other side of your side by side or a unit in one of the condos in town. I understand the government guidelines favor utilizing properties that are held by out of state residents.
