It is outrageous that our taxes are being raised for a range of reasons including the fire department. On a recent fire- announced as a structure fire took the fire department 14 minutes to arrive. This is inadequate. Thankfully it was only a fire in a dumpster but 14 minutes is outrageous for any sort of emergency response- what if there were people trapped? Thank you to the man with the garden hose from a neighboring property.
