Sea Isle City

It is getting tiresome to read comments from people who oppose government funding of beach replenishment/stabilization projects. I suspect that many of these folks are jealous that they cannot afford to live on or near the beach. The transient nature of barrier islands is the main culprit, but almost no one thought about that in the 1880's when these islands were first developed as tourist attractions. The growth of the tourism industry is what created modern Cape May Co. If I could afford it, I would live on the beach too.
