I’m a little tired of the NFL using the expression of “ Hail Mary” plays. Can you possibly imagine if an expression from the Muslim or Jewish religion was utilized to reference a football play ? We have changed names of football teams, the names of military installations, torn down historical monuments, and rewritten history to pacify other “ groups”. Why do we allow people, not even of our religion, to utilize this expression as a joke? It’s offensive and would not be tolerated by any other religious group.
