If the city can participate in a FEMA modification review prior to October with the expectation that it will have sufficient points earned through other flood mitigation efforts to regain its previous status level then why couldn’t the city find this time over the last three years to get the work done to get the city to a 2 that Baldini said the city was close to achieving? Who was being paid to do this job? What was the employee doing during the 3 years that they didn’t get this job done? Time to think of the taxpayers.
