I find it very revealing that the founder of Greenpeace, which first started their environmental/whale advocacy in the 1970s said the current leadership of Greenpeace betrayed the organization's mission and has been captured by money from foreign wind farm companies. Whales are acoustic species that use sonar to see and interact with their environment. I get why politicians & companies seek to downplay the harm to whales, but it's concerning that many people refuse to examine the situation with neutral eyes. The sonar testing could be disorienting the whales and causing the vessel strikes.
