I am pleased to see that Sea Isle is charging a fee to use the kayak storage facility. I am at the storage facility frequently and see that the kayaks are rarely gone from storage and the launch area seems to be grossly underutilized. I believe that, since the spots are free, many people just enter the lottery because "if it's free, it's for me"!! Now, with a fee, the people who really want to utilize the storage and launch facilities will be able to do so.
