Fire departments not having access to the TI bridge and the mind boggling construction on our main roads had no impact on the response time to the 78th Street fire. Maybe it was the lack of fire hydrants? The fire hydrant on our street was recently removed so a developer could put up a huge duplex. Why was this allowed and why weren't the residents on the block informed?
