Easter's influx of tourists and summer residents gave us a little taste of the mayhem that will soon follow on our streets when thousands of out-of-control bicyclists get turned loose on us. Pedestrians also do a great job of rivaling cyclists, now the law permits them to wander into the street without so much as looking left and right. I guess the lawmakers never took into consideration how much longer the stopping distance is for a car at 25 mph than it is for a person who is walking (supposing the person is not reading his iPhone), but the cops will give motorists hundreds of tickets soon.
