During a week when the waves were big, a man injured his neck after getting hit by a big wave. The lifeguards responded immediately, and wow, was I impressed. While the younger guards made a circle to keep people back, the guys who drove down were obviously well-trained in dealing with injuries like this man had. They stabilized his neck and put him on a backboard to carry him to a waiting ambulance. It makes me feel good about where I choose to vacation. If anything goes wrong while I'm on the beach in Sea Isle, I know I'm in good hands. Bravo Sea Isle City Beach Patrol!
