Coming changes to Medicaid are very worrying, esp for Cape May County. In Cape May County there is the highest percentage of New Jerseyan’s who depend on Medicaid. For example, before our hospital did away with a maternity ward, in 2022, 68% of the mothers used Medicaid as their insurance. Cape May County has a large number of poor folks, so County Commissioners, what will you do to help when their health insurance is reduced or cut? What will you do when their kids go hungry or our seniors and disabled on Medicaid are stuck with high health care bills? You endorsed this Trump administration.
