Being a long time property owner and resident in Sea Isle I'm totally amazed that the city wants to spend 20 million$ for a community center/gym. I have yet to find one property owner or resident is in favor of this out of control spending. Sea Isle borrows and spends at will without consideration for the increasing debt burden. In addition the referendum stated that if you did not want to spend your tax $ on a 20 million pool in your rec center than you were in favor of the less expensive rec center. A new vote for the rec center with transparent financial information would never carry.+
