The 34th Street Beach in Sea Isle City is in need of working lifeguards. The three people (suited like lifeguards) sitting in the stand over the holiday weekend may not have been given a job description. They visited and chatted with each other while swimmers were catching waves near the jetty. Children danced in the surf, observed only by others doing the same. Please pay attention to the warning to swim in front of lifeguards and always make sure the lifeguards are paying attention to you.
