As a 30 year summer resident and taxpayer in Sea Isle, it has always confounded me as to why, on Saturday mornings in season, the police do not make Pleasure Ave. one way north from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with all the weekly checkouts heading home. As we all know, Landis, Central and Park are a parking lot during those hours. This winter, all the road construction in town has demonstrated that people can adjust on a temporary basis. The only inconvenience would be you may have to go a few blocks more if you need to get to Pleasure Ave. during that time.
