Schumer’s shutdown is failing because it can’t possibly stop what the democrats want to stop and will only convert those it causes pain and loss of safety to go to the other side. Democrats talked nonstop about “affordability” and then made life unaffordable for a significant portion of federal workers for no reason at all. Schumer’s Shutdown won’t stop ICE funding, that’s fully funded, so all this pain for the American people, some Dems, for no reason. Some have quit over it, with more to come. Democrats in power tell us this is leadership, people not being paid know it’s not.
