Rio Grande - When your child joins a sports team, you expect all the players to practice together. Practice is held at the same time for everyone, correct? So why is Wildwood Catholic's softball coach dividing the practice into two? One 90-minute practice for specific girls on the team, followed by a shorter 60-minute practice for the "other" girls. We've all heard the saying, "There is no 'I' in team." Well, there shouldn't be an "us" or "them" either. Is this how the school wants to teach its young people how to treat each other? Great teamwork!
