Rio Grande - There was once a time that women were considered property, they could not work, could not obtain a proper college education, and could not vote. Women were held at a low standard in society. A recent commenter on a spout about an unethical, unfair hiring question of a woman wrote, “Christina Hoff Sommers.” What a narrow-minded woman who has clearly never been affected by sexism. This is not a man’s world anymore. Women and men should be treated equally! I doubt the interviewer would have asked a man the same personal questions about whether or not he had children! Shame on anyone who thinks that’s OK!
