Rio Grande - The Second Amendment speaks of “a well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state.” I think this means that those with AK47s and other machine guns would need to pass a physical and mental screening and need to drill and train under our armed services just like our reserved forces. There’s simply no legitimate reason for anyone to have these weapons which are only good for one thing, to kill as many people in the shortest amount of time possible. They belong only in the hands of police and military.
