Rio Grande - In response to the article about the Rio Grande Fire Commission vehicle that was in an accident in December, speculation is that it was not hit in the parking lot which will be proven or disproven by the Prosecutor's Office. Mr. Stiltner's statement is incorrect; it was not kept on fire district property when not in use. Although the fire bureau inspectors take vehicles home (one inspector even has two, not sure why), that vehicle was not driven by an inspector, only that commissioner.
