Rio Grande - People whining about gas prices don’t have any idea how free markets work. There is an already operating keystone pipeline but even it is not a max flow rate. So there was no need for the keystone xl. Oil companies have no incentive to pump more oil. Reducing production boosts their profits per barrel. Businesses don’t sell anything for less than they know customers are willing to pay. It’s simple supply and demand.
