My child is going into first grade at a local public school.

Rio Grande - My child is going into first grade at a local public school. We were denied her classroom/teacher information and the list of supplies needed because of a book that the school said was not turned into the library in her kindergarten year. Although I totally understand the school needs to keep costs down, I also feel that this practice is a type of bullying. The result is that children feel scared and nervous enough starting a new year (especially first grade), to have them punished by being unprepared and singled out seems unfair. Surely we can come up with a better solution.
