Just wondering, why isn't anyone concerned with mail in ballots

Rio Grande - Just wondering, why isn't anyone concerned with mail in ballots spreading Covid?? They will be touched and the envelopes licked in the millions (germs anyone??) I would rather go to a polling place, wait in line ,(social distance) with mask and gloves go into the booth ,cast my vote, leave, then throw out my gloves and mask. (oh and bring my own pen to sign in)
