Rio Grande - I've been watching some older shows from the 1970s on TV. I've been looking into the backgrounds and seeing the parked cars and the cars the characters are driving around in. Every car is either Ford, Chrysler or a General Motors product, all huge tanks with lots of chrome and at least a thousand pounds of steel. No thought given to gas mileage or aerodynamics. Contrast that today when driving through any parking lot or down the street. Everything is Toyota, Hyundai, etc., and made from plastic. No wonder U.S. car makers took a hit in the 70s and early 80s.
