Rio Grande - It's really disheartening when local retailers are ignoring the state and federal warnings and urgent messages of social distancing. I understand essential needs stores being open - thankfully our large scale grocers are heeding warnings and closing up shop early. Local corporate hardware stores are a different story - we have 2 corporate hardware giants that are open to support so many residents and non residents- non essential homebound house projects -One is closing up shop early - the other is not and has no plans to protect their elderly and veteran employees with social distancing.
