Rio Grande - I voted for the open space preservation fund back in ‘89 with the belief the funds would be used to actually preserve open space. The county never got voter approval to divert the open spaces funds for other things. How was that legal? The county has shown no commitment to open space preservation. They’ve even turned down people that wanted to preserve their land. This is why people don’t trust government.
