Rio Grande - I may not be a math whiz, but I do not understand the basis of the Herald's front page headline that "Municipalities Perform Better Than Expected in 2020" as compared to the mislabled chart that by town that is next to the article. If you eliminate from the comparison the 3 towns with no or less than a 1% change, you have 6 towns that had surplus and 7 that had a deficit. If you add up all the dollars provided in the so-called surplus graph, there is an overall net deficit (not surplus) of over $100,000 for all towns reported. We all like to read cheery news, but the facts would be better!
