The FO arrived a day later to see the damage to the RG FH vehicle. The FO then called the MTPD to let them know about the accident assuming it was a hit n- run. A day after the accident it was told to the FO that this was another fireman who hit the car by mistake. This fireman took responsibility publicly. There is no benefit to the FO to make this claim. He didn’t hit the car and he has not and will not gain anything.
