Has anyone except me, realized that the traffic light on Rt 47 a

Rio Grande - Has anyone except me, realized that the traffic light on Rt 47 and the NB exit off the Parkway at Exit 4, is malfunctioning, in that it usually is on auto detection (magnetic sensor) which senses an auto and triggers a light change. For the past few weeks, the light has been on timed auto change, and will stop west and east bound traffic on cycle operation, even when no cars are exiting at the base of the ramp. What a waste of energy to sit at a stop for literally nothing.
