Rio Grande - Coin drops on highways should not be allowed. The practice is no longer acceptable or safe on busy highways. Volunteer firemen can stand at the entrances of establishments, as other volunteer organizations solicit donations. This would be much more conducive to having conversations with the public over the duties our firemen perform and how money is raised through taxes and donations, and how money is spent on equipment and training. Conversations can take place in a safe and secure setting that does not affect public safety. Donations would be much higher.
