Who do I call about all the shopping carts strewn around my neighborhood? This has been going on at least 15 years! Isn't taking shopping carts off store property stealing? I know it's stealing my tax dollars indirectly!
Moderator's Note: Middle Township has in its municipal code Chapter 208 regarding shopping carts. The township may impound carts up to five days, giving notice to the owner. During that time the owner may retrieve without cost. After five days, a $50 fine per day will be levied if the owner does not retrieve the cart.
