Where do my local fire taxes go to is my question! They were raised a year or two in the past. Why does Rio Grande Fire need so many donations each year. Bingo 4 times a month. Four weekends of street drives.Renting there hall out for functions.Three or four hoagie sales. A car show. Not to mention that cell tower outback behind firehouse that they get money for each month.My family and friends just received letters in the mail for more from us with a donation letter for this year. Talking about a smack in your face it getting out of control.
