We live in an adult community, and don't have children or grandchildren in this school district, yet over 50 percent of our taxes go towards education. This municipality needs to wake up to what the school is doing and help reduce the tax rate. Where was the school administration and board when the township was building adult communities instead of family housing? Now we have two new housing developments that will raise our taxes this year due to an increase in student population.
