Rio Grande

Someone from Rio Grande spouted, "The real divisiveness in our nation are laws intended to prevent emerging racial and cultural groups from fully participating in the democratic political process by laws making it more burdensome to register to vote." What laws make it more burdensome to register to vote? Our voting laws are lax enough as it is; voter ID laws exist in only a few states and are very limited. Yes, people have to be 18-year-old citizens to vote, what is burdensome about that? Does the spouter want non-citizens or resident aliens voting?
