NY Attorney General Letitia James is now suing JBS group, the world's largest beef producer, for misleading consumers about how fast they said they can reach net zero carbon emissions. JBS had pledged to reduce carbon emissions 30% by 2030 and net zero by 2040. Instead of waiting until then, she is suing them now because she doesn't believe they will be able to do it, making the pledge a form of fraud.
